They will launch two new coins next week, the Grant $1 Coin and the Yellowstone 5 oz Silver Uncirculated Coin. The United States Mint is once again offering silver proof sets after soaring precious metals prices resulted in their sale suspensions for several weeks. The 2010 and 2011 Silver Proof Sets and the 2010 and 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Sets may be purchased directly from the US Mint ( at their most recent pre-suspension prices. Ulysses S. Grant Presidential $1 Coins will begin making their way into American circulation on May 19, 2011. The Grant Presidential dollars, which are minted for circulation in the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, mark the 18th release in the United States Mint Presidential $1 Coin Program, and the second of four 2011 Presidential Dollars. The 2010 Yellowstone 5 Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin will be released by the United States Mint on May 17, 2011 according to a Mint press release. This will mark the second America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin to appear from the Mint in less than one month.
