The United States Mint will begin accepting orders for bags and two-roll sets containing the new Gettysburg National Military Park quarter at noon Eastern Time (ET) on January 27. The two-roll sets are priced at $39.95 each and the bags at $49.95 each. The coins in the bags and rolls were minted on the main production floors of the United States Mint facilities at Denver and Philadelphia for use in general circulation. When issued, the 2011 Presidential Dollars will represent the fifth year for a series of coins struck to honor the former chief executives of the United States. The United States Mint this week released coin images of the $1's. Up until now only line art designs had been available. David S. Brenner of Delaware found what appeared to be a bona fide strong doubled die on a 2010 Grand Canyon 5-ounce silver bullion coin showing in images he sent to Numismatic News. It wasn't.
