As for the proof versions, they sold out last week. More recently, the 2010 Proof Gold Eagle Four-Coin Set sold out. The next product from the U.S. Mint will be the Yellowstone National Park Quarter Three Coin Set, which will hit the market tomorrow. America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins hit the public Monday. The United States Mint on Monday, January 3, began selling the 2011 Silver Eagle bullion coin through its network of Authorized Purchasers. Buyers ordered 1,696,000 of the .999 fine bullion coins on the first business day of the year, according to US Mint's published sales figures. A portion of those sales include 2010-dated Silver Eagle bullion coins. The US Mint has not published how many of last year's issue remain, but has said they will be sold until their inventory is completely depleted. The latest United States Mint product to sell out is the 2010 Gold Eagle Proof Four-Coin Set. The set, which includes the one-ounce, one-half ounce, one-quarter ounce, and one-tenth ounce Gold Eagle Proof coins, sold out Monday afternoon. With its disappearance, collectors will no longer have a direct path from the US Mint to purchase the one-ounce and one-half ounce sizes as these sold out earlier (the half ounce on December 22 and the one-ounce at the end of October). The 2010-W Proof American Silver Eagles have attained a Sold-Out status according to the US Mint's website ending a short six weeks of availability. The 99.9% fine silver Proof Eagles were released only on November 19, 2010 but were snapped up by collector's despite their short window of time on the Mint's shelves. Hundreds of people from across the country flooded The Gold Center Monday to get their hands on a set of rare America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins. The Gold Center, 3000 W. Iles Ave., was one of only nine outlets nationwide that were able to sell the coins to the public Monday.
