Taking less than 11 days from its initial release, the US Mint has officially placed the 2010 Proof Platinum Eagles on its "No Longer Available" list indicating it is now officially sold out. The coin was first offered to the public on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Noon (Eastern). Initial price of the strike was $1,892 each, with a household limit of 5 in place.
